Hello everyone, I have now come to the point where I have to go back to healthy eating. No more excuses, I promise! Last year I lost 4 stones and felt good . This year has not been good and I know I have put weight back on. I can feel it round my middle. I'm not going to dwell on the negative because it's pointless. I HAVE to stop eating too much and the wrong things or I'll put all the weight back on eventually. Then I'll be on a downward spiral. It won't happen.
I'm going to stop deleting the emails I get from healthunlocked every morning that I used to read every day and join in with. Now I'll be reading them again and will get the support that I need again.
I want to feel how I did when I lost all the weight. So, here goes again...... wish me luck. No on second thoughts don't wish me luck, wish me willpower! Many thanks.....hopefully will write again on here shortly a more positive post. ππ

Millions and oodles of willpower, trillians. Hope that's enough as I don't know what's after trillian
I'm going to make your restart official, by giving you all the newbie info and by giving you a newbie badge. When you weigh-in tomorrow, at the weigh-in, we'll know what weight loss badge to award you
Well done for not giving up!
Take a look at the Pinned posts section to the right of your screen (bottom if you're using a mobile), or in the drop down on the 'Posts' page (it says 'arrange by'). Read the Welcome Newbie thread, then move through to the challenges, where we hope you'll find at least one that will appeal to you.
Move down to the Topics, to find a variety of threads, collated into specific topics for ease of access and we ask that you also 'file' your own threads, so that others won't miss your important news.
Take a look at the NHS 12 week plan, as a lot of people have been successful with it, making sure to enter your details into the NHS BMI calculator, to get a calorie allowance tailored to your personal requirements. Don't forget to take your starting measurements and a 'before' picture, as they can be very motivating on days that the scales refuse to co-operate.
To the right of the HOME page (bottom on a mobile), you'll find Events. In there, you'll find links to our daily Weigh-in's (you will choose just one day per week), our Daily Diary, where we post our menu and exercise plans, for accountability, advice and support and our βWhat's happening todayβ thread, where we pop in for a chat.
Be aware, that the HU app doesn't give you access to all of our important features, so we advise that you use the full website page.
We've found that to get the best out of this community, we need to be active on the forum, as it's where we exchange information, get motivation and inspiration and make friends. We hope that you'll join us here, regularly, too.
It's only left for me to wish you well on your journey
I would say your post is positive because you know where you went wrong and are now going to fix it. So not at all negative. I'll wish you luck and will power.
Hi Jweanie. I think your post is positive. You've convinced me that you are determined to do it. You did it before so you know you have all the tools you need. I suspect you, like me, thought you were on a diet but really we have to see healthy eating as a plan for life. Well done for getting back on track before you put all your lost weight back on. Wish I had.
Hi Jweanie. I agree with the other replies - you caught yourself before gaining all the weight back, you have identified where you went wrong, and you've returned to the fold. Only way from here is up (or should that be down)
And welcome back Jweanie good for you not giving up on tourself. You're worth another effort. May you always have the courage to pull back and start again.
Post often and don't forget that your experience will be a great help to othersπππ
