Feeling pleased

How is everyone this evening? :)

I'm feeling pleased as I managed to make a healthy curry for dinner and swapped the white rice and bombay potato out for roasted broccoli - which means I can have a square or two of sea salt dark chocolate instead! Not together obviously ;)

It's amazing how inventive we can be when we have some calorie awareness isn't it? My hubby loves curry and I've built up quite a repertoire over the years. However, he also loves samosas and chapatis which take some resisting!

Enjoy your chocolate, it sound divine 😊 Which brand do you buy? I've heard M&S is good.

It is! I'm quite enjoying experimenting :) oh yum samosas, and bhajis too! I know how you feel, it's hard seeing the rest of the family tuck in to yummy pillowy naan bread but it's just not worth it.

Thank you! I buy Lindt when it's on offer, a bit pricy but so lovely and it's very rich :)

Morning Gary :)

Sounds good to me! Sometimes I think half of the struggle is resisting the urge to eat what everyone else is having.

I'm sure it is ,when I was younger we eat the fat as that was all part of the meal.we did not eat in between meals like people do today.

It's all the processed stuff rather than the natural fats that are bad for you.

Thanks

Gary

That is exactly what I am trying to do Concerned, as I have been told I am most likely pre-diabetic :)

Fat is part of what gives meat it's flavour .
