I'm sorry to hear that you've not seen the results you wanted to. The exercise you're doing sounds amazing but intense!

I'm not sure where you're going "wrong" or what to suggest. Maybe you could post a "normal day of food" so people can see if anything hidden is tripping you up?

Are you drinking, sleeping and eating enough? And enough of the correct foods for the exercise you're doing? Are you on any medications which could impact on the results?

Hi kinbun I'm not sure how I can show you my normal day of food but I can tell you it consists of for breakfast half fat Creme fraiche , 5 strawberries, small banana, handful of blueberries and a handful of granola , lunch is either homemade soup, or salad and dinner fish and veg , stir fry or roast all planned in on MyFitnessPal to keep track , I try and drink at least a litre 1/2 of water, more on exercise days I am not on medication, I do indulge in a wine or two at the weekend but feel the amount of exercise I'm doing would it really mean no weight loss ?? I might as well be eating / drinking what I want because there doesn't seem to be any difference in what I'm doing other than wearing myself out !!!

Hi hun maybe cut calories at bit and see how you go, I'm 13.12 and have 1700 calories a day losing a pound a week average hope this helps xx

I thought by upping my exercise I would see more of a change , I've tried really hard last couple of weeks and although I feel good after doing it all I feel totally deflated 😰 ( let alone worn out ) !!

I'm getting the impression exercise isn't everything, if the diet isn't right it's going to be a very long process, I'd take YellowRose55 advice and cut the carbs, (she's very good at this πŸ˜†) see how you go xx

Someone put a quote on here once "you can't out run a good diet" - it's really stuck with me. Exercise is really important for health, but you have to get the inputs right for weight loss.

Hi Angeleeze

I can understand you feeling annoyed at not losing any weight as you are certainly doing enough exercise. Can I ask do you write down every thing you eat, if so take a look back on each day and see if there is any where your going over or eating the wrong thing. Do you weigh all your protions or guestimate?

Hi πŸ‘‹πŸΌ yes I do try and weigh everything and even put in the cake consumed at work , I will point out that although calories are within the 1800 mark the ratio is more towards carbs than protein or fat , do you think I should cut down in carbs more ??

Hi, I find that rice, pasta & bread are terrible for me!

Maybe switch for a week and see if you see any change?

You could screen shot your Fitness Pal food diarys and post them for more advice from people who know more than me.

Good luck πŸ˜‰

Try cutting down on the carbs for a week and see if it makes a difference.

Hi Angeleeze you sound just like me, I do not intend to get weighed till just before I go on hols beginning of June, I got so down about my weight I started at gym in 2015 I lost over 2 stone in 18 months I slackened of a bit with diet & over Christmas put weight on which I cannot shift I have eaten more cals & eaten less cals it's not made any difference I have stuck at 65kilo since so for now I am concentrating on keeping fit & healthy, I have a hard exercise routine at gym & now I jog/walk 5km x 3 weekly I don't feel as if I have put any weight on/off but I feel fitter albeit my leg muscles ache. I try to stick to 1600 cals, I have a fit bit which I find very good, don't give up keep at it.

Thankyou for your reply I too feel fitter and better in myself for doing the exercise until I step on those damn scales 😑 I have made a decision to stay off them for a while , trying harder regarding food choices and hopefully I'll see some results , I need to stop it from taking over my life !!
