Well yesterday I did a 5k mostly flat not like my park run which apparently is one of the worst or so I am told, I jogged quite more than I usually do managed 10 lamposts before walking it's given me encouragement might try a different park run on sat at a race course not far from me. Thursday me & hubby will be doing home park run see how that goes I am aiming to do 5k 3 times a week.

Very well done kbed π That sounds tough!
Do you go on the c25k forum? They're a really nice group too π
Brilliant. Well done . Sounds like as great running plan
Great, sounds like you're making progress There is a big difference between some parkruns. When I first joined my current one I found the uneven ground really challenging after a smooth canal path based parkrun in my previous area. But I think I've developed stronger ankles now Great to hear you have a partner in crime too, keep going πππ
Well done on your achievement for c25k . I don't want to discourage you but try not the full 5k on each run as your body needs time to recover from each run and you might burn yourself out before your big event . If it was me l be doing slight less on a sunday and tuesday and give my body 4 days to recover for a stronger run on a saturday or mix your runs up with sprinting to build stronger leg muscles. Good luck and l hope you do well.
Thanks for your advice Run4Help I will think about what you said, I did park run at my local racecourse this week instead of my home one 47.10 pb for me but, I have said my home park run is hard this one wasn't easy by any means but its given me a lift .
