I have about the same to lose, and have been reading this forum for a long time and posted my first post just now! This is a very motivating place to be with so much advice, information, good will, encouragement, etc. I too have had enough with slimming clubs, plans, 'diets' and what not, and a sensible slow-but-sure approach has to be the way to go.
I lost about 21 pounds last year by simply calorie counting and then fell off the wagon and put a stone back on over the summer, but I am stubborn and b.minded about so many other things in life and so am trying to apply that principle to losing the weight too :).
Snap and with added work stress :(. I have discovered I'm an emotional eater Seems like I got to 40 and everything has dropped off (except the weight) lol I tried to loss weight so many times but slip back to old habits far to easily as I have no willpower. This time for me feels different somehow. I'm not setting a target that I find impossible to reach I want to feel healthier and losing weight is a bonus. I think the nicer weather spurs you on to so best of luck xxx
