Hi my weigh loss started properly after Divorce last July but i comfort eat when stressed. After Trip to India and Xmas (all that yummy food)! i started using a free phone app myfitnesspal and i honestly record all i eat,. I drink water more, eat fruit more,it's like a game and challenge and i can see whats bad so have cut down eg booze. I walk more and exercise a little at home, in april 2015 was 17 and half stone , xmas 2016 16 stone, recently hit 14 and half stone. Its ok to have a bad day, just exercise and eat less next day? Good luck.
Hi Lizzie, the exercise thing is difficult when you're a single mum and work, I can remember though mine are in their 20s now. Think about active things you can do with your child (ren) , swimming, playing in the garden/park, or consider getting a small static bike/ treadmill at home where you can excercise but still keep an eye on them! 😀
Hi how are things today? I can completely agree with the tiredness and exercise issues. My daughter's are 5 and 14 months. I'm up early, work full time and need to exercise but it can all seem too much!
Not a great start yest, came home from work to a power cut which lasted till midnight, so all plans for exercise went out of the window, back on it today though!! How did you get on?
I did ok diet wise but I have blown it today. On the plus side, I have exercised everyday so far. Hope you managed to make up for the powercut
