Hello! I'm a newbie too; just been reading for a few weeks. You'll find lots of good tips on here. I think one thing that helps is breaking it down into little steps, so seeing if you can lose 2lb in a week is more manageable than aiming to lose a stone in 7 weeks - but it works out the same ;-) Also remember that something is better than nothing, so any baby steps you make towards a healthier life are better than none. I can't see myself ever spending an hour a day in the gym, but I do feel like following suggestions on here has helped me get my appetite under control and just ramp down my overall calorie intake without it being painful!

Hello debbie, you are welcome to the forum. You have come to the right place. I joined earlier in the week too and I am already receiving so much support and encouragement. Happy and cheering for you as you take this bold step towards losing the 3st. xx

Hello Debbie and welcome.

If you're not already aware of it, there is an NHS 12 week plan that many of us are following. If you are using a computer or tablet then click on 'Home' and you will find a link to it on the right hand side of your screen as you scroll down. I believe that if you are using a mobile then it can be found by scrolling down to the bottom.

Whatever method you choose I wish you all the best.
