3lb to go until I reach the 7stone lost

3lb off losing 7stone, best thing is bumping into people that I hadn't seen for a while and them not recognizing me, I'm always asked "what's your secret" people find it hard to believe that I've not had a gastric band, the only trick I have is to stay strong and motivated xx

Amazing story ☺ very well done Michellewast ☺☺☺ gorgeous photograph too ☺

How are you feeling about your weight loss now? I remember you said it's getting tougher to lose 😕 are you nearly at goal? You look amazing to me so you can't be far off! !! ☺☺☺

It's a lot slower now but I'm ok with that, I'm 100 percent healthier and even tho the bus bmi calculator suggests I lose another 2 stone I'm happy to just gone down half a stone more x

IndigoBlue61 profile image
IndigoBlue61 in reply toMichellewast

That sounds like an excellent plan ☺ ☺☺

You are not the only one who is struggling to reach that magical "healthy BMI" number! !! After years of yo-yo dieting I am putting all my effort into fitness and NOT regaining ☺ I'd rather keep off the 3 stone I've lost than lose 4 and regain it all. . .

Exactly I think another 2 stone is ridiculous to be honest, we are all different shapes and sizes I'm a size 14 at the moment and sometimes a 12 in jeans my goal is to be a size 12 top and bottom regardless of what my bmi says I should be x

From your photo it really doesn't look like you have 2 stone available to lose; you look healthy now. So much depends on your frame I think. Really impressive that you have persevered and got such results over a year. Thank you for showing what can be done!

That's an amazing loss. You must have huge determination and self discipline. I bet you could achieve anything if you set your mind to it! Do you fancy becoming Prime Minister or, better still, President of the USA?

Well done Michelle, really admire your determination and willpower. I would love to see the look on people's faces when you meet them after losing so much :) . I have the same amount to loose but not yet started.

Well done with this journey and you have been great and look amazing. All the best with the future of not having a wobble too! Are you going to become a maintainer to assist you. Glad to see it in people too as it is a good boost. I just cannot seem to get a photo on here, but I am on a tablet, I have heard we cannot do it, but don't know. Good luck! 👍🎉🌹👏👏

Amazing! :) well done you!

You look SO much younger (not meant offensively). I think you're beautiful on both pictures but the change to how young you look and how healthy your skin looks is amazing!

It's true my skin is much better and at 35 I've had people say I look 10years younger x

Well done you, that's fantastic! :D

Getting to that 'ideal' BMI is tricky, isn't it? I'm so near to it now (I'm 4 and 1/2 lbs away from reaching the top end of my ideal BMI according to the NHS calculator and I'm now a size 12 top and bottom). However, the closer we get to that ideal the harder it seems to get there....this 5th stone has been a hard slog but I'm so near to getting into the 9 stone region now and a healthy BMI I feel I need to get there but you're right - it's not easy and it won't be as fast as it was in the beginning. :P I find now that I need to work on my fitness so once I'm at the top end of my BMI I'm going to try to maintain or lose the final stone (to be in my bmi my a good amount) really slowly and really work on my fitness instead. I want to be a better runner...reading some members posts is amazing inspiration in that regard! :)

Once again, super well done!! It would be nice to see a full body photo so we can really see the weight-loss though, bet you look fabulous! :D ;)

Wow! You have it sorted, congratulations and we'll done.

An inspiration to us all. You have proved that if you have the motivation you can do anything. I have always believed that the majority of people who say they can't do something are really saying that they don't have the motivation and you have proved it Well done

Fill up on water, if a journey can be walked then walk it, I use to take the car for a simple 5 minute journey, I actually love walking now, yesterday I walked with my dog for 6 miles x

HannahBoon profile image

Thank you, I walk with my dog and if i pop to the shop or something, but Im rubbish with drinking lots of water. I know I should have far more than I do. Thank you for the advice :0)
