Wow, what an inspiration, thanks for sharing! Well done and for maintaining too, super job!
Wow! Well done! You look loke a completely different person! Offering to share your experiences to motivate, encourage and support others is great!
Well done for maintaining too. When I reached my goal, I went a little off the rails, but am well and truly back on them. I think maintaining is almost more difficult than losing the weight in the first place.
You look great!! Good for you. How did you do it?
Wow Dan97_ you have done fantastic and well done for maintaining. I'm so glad you shared your post as it shows others it can be done and it can stay off too.
Wow Dan97! Of course you should post thisππ What a great journey you have been on and you look fantastic. What a brilliant ambassador for this forum and an inspiration to us all. Well done on getting there and maintaining. Thank you for sharing. Best wishes for the future.π
Wow Dan97_ what a difference, thank you for posting and congratulations. It is so nice of you to want to pay it forward. Maybe you would like to share your story with us and give us a few tips
Hi.
Congrats. To be where you are now is a distant dream of mine. It's amazing that you've lost so much weight and have maintained it for so long.
I'm almost 20 stone. I'm at 276.6lbs, but recently gained weight, which made me momentarily lose my motivation. Did you ever experience weight gains or stalls during your weight loss journey?
It's encouraging to see somebody who's lost that much weight and also has maintained their weight loss.
Thanks for sharing.
Amazing!
Wow! Well done, what an achievement and to maintain is excellent.
What a great role model you are. Thanks for sharing Dan

Congratulations! And we'll done on maintaining for so long , that's just as important. I'm sure you'll be an inspirational force here.
Are you sure its the same person in both photos!!! How long did it take to get from A to B minus the maintaining period?

You've done really well! You look great! Wish I had that kind of determination.. I loose a few pounds then put them back on lol .. you are definitely an inspiration to people like me!
Well done to you that is brilliant to achieve. I hope I can manage to maintain once I get to my ideal weight, I definitely don't want to put it all back on again. Hope this stays like this for you forever and you look so much better now. Well done to you ππ
Thankyou everyone for all your messages! I can't really preach top tips, but the best advise I can give is Set yourself a daily calorie target and live and die by itπ It took me just 10months from beginning to end! I was extremely disciplined though and in my prime did 4 hours of cardio every day! 2 hours in the morning & 2 at night. I worked out every day, birthdays, Christmas etc! I know this seems like a complete hell and for 10 months it wasπ but Im more of a "short term pain for long term gain" person- although some people may prefer to pace their weight loss! When I finished my weight loss and began maintaining it took about a further 6 months to get the balance right & initially I continued loosing unintentionally. From there it took my body about a further 6 months to recover and regain lost muscle mass from the extremity of everything. Can 100% say it was worth it thoughπ
Crumbs - or probably not. What a shining example of dedication. Congratulations. I'm so glad you posted the initial message, and the follow up, it's all grist to the mill for those of us still paddling along.
