Morning JohnDane557

The one thing that works well for me at this time of year is home made soups, they are very filling. I also eat lots of fish, fresh veg and fruit. I always make sure I have a breakfast these days, porridge or Granola with yogurt and berries.

Take a look in the Topics at "Healthy Eating" and "Recipes/meals/snacks" posts for some ideas.

The 1cal spray to use for frying, you get the visual pleasure of fried onions/mushrooms/eggs etc without all the calories of the frying pan oil.

Mushroom and eggs are really fruitful. Even my family doctor has prescribed this.

Low cal jellies, sugar free custard, rice cakes, fruit, mixed nuts (not too many!), crisp breads with cashew nut butter, boiled eggs, chopped carrot sticks...

Just a few ideas to get you started.

I love home made soups too as very filling (current favourite is celery & mushroom as low calories but tasty!

If you like crispbreads have you tried ryvita thins, l think they are approximate 27cals each so 6 thins plus a small portion of low fat cheese and some veg sticks makes for a nice 200cal snack/meal with plenty of crunch.

Thanks, yes I do like ryvita thins. Also they do lot of different types. I quite like the multi -grain ones and also the ones with cracked black pepper.
