Take one day at a time !

Lindaweightwatcher profile image

Hi I've been struggling with my weight for years really like many of us ,the last few yrs I've been stuck at around 15 st , feeling a mess really ,not wanting to go out socialising ,after xmas my weight crept up to 15 st 12 and I thought this will have to stop now .ive tried weight watchers ,slimming world , just couldn't get focused , I'm going Tenerife in April and I'm going to try and get at least 2 stones off , so last wk I said to myself I'm going to have 1200 calories a day and not go over ,anyway I stuck to it and I've lost 7 pds this wk ,so what I'm saying is for me calorie counting is best and try and stick to ur allowance ,it's hard with temptation .. I'm a chocoholic but still combine it in my diet , think the answer is to just take a day at a time ,if u have a blip get back on it the next day , I've still got a long way to go but feeling a bit more focused at the moment x

Morning Lindaweightwatcher

Well done on losing 7lbs this week, would you like a 7lbs badge.

I know you are having 1200 calories a day, this is below the recommended calorie allowance which is 1400. My concern is you may not be able to keep this up for longer period of time as it is so low. Please take a look at the Welcome Newbies post in the pinned post section on the right or at the bottom if on a mobile. The post as the nhs 12 week plan and a BMI checker to work out your daily calories allowance. I have 1500 calories a day and have lost just over 4 stone in 7 months.

Have a good week.
