Got one.

I got my first "Wow, you have lost weight!" after my loss of 20lbs. It took along enough but it sure did feel good! I've still got another half a stone to go to my target weight but I'll get there. Keep focused everyone! :)

Well done! It's great when people start to notice isn't it!

I'm sure that you will hear more and more compliments as you reach your goal. Nearly there👍

Thank you Yoyonomore! No one really noticed the extra weigh I put on as I was VERY good at hiding it. Maybe that was one of the problems as I reckon I was kidding myself too. It is so much easier in winter with baggy jumpers. :)

I was also very good at hiding it, but remember people are polite as well as unobservant. But people have definitely begun to notice my weight loss now for the simple fact I'm back in jeans again. Although the people who notice but don't say anything about the weight loss may also be the same people who never judged you in the first place for putting it on. It's a personal journey and importantly we notice it in ourselves :)

Just came across some old posts I'd been following and saw this reply of yours Ruth.. that's a very good point about the people who don't appear to notice weightloss ...I used to think it might be sour grapes, but maybe they were simply non judgmental !

Exactly :)

Thank you sueper. I think the last 7lb is going to be the hardest but I will do it! :)

Congratulations on your success, and here's to the last 7Ib 🎉 it's a fab feeling when others recognise all the hard we have put in.

Have a great week and continue to enjoy.

Thanks NoMoreJunk. Love your name and hope you are doing well. A turning point for me was when I accepted I was addicted to sugar which is junk of course so I do try to avoid sweet things. Good for my teeth too! :)

Fab, you must feel great. You have done amazingly well so far and should be very proud that you are 2/3 of the way to your target. Enjoy the compliments, I'm sure there will be more to come.

Thank you mrsg3. People don't notice me as I wear dark clothes most of the time but today I was pretty in pink. :)

Fantastic achievement - a little envious of it too - I am sure you will whip through the last 7 pounds. Best of luck!

Love your name! It is making me think about Marks&Sprarks lemon muffins though. I think they are 440 calories and worst still is the carrot cake as that's 835 calories a slice. Yikes! Have a good week! :)
