I have managed 3 days at the gym this week so far and feel revived, am going tomoro and hopefully Saturday to give my body a real boost after a a month of very little . Sticking to middle of calorie range. Hoping for a good result next week, fingers crossed .

You've certainly hit the ground running, dish70. Given the combination of increased activity and calorie reduction, there'd be something seriously a-miss if a loss wasn't enjoyed next week. Continue to enjoy it!!

that's a really good start... when I started at the gym and started eating healthy the weight loss did actually stall for a couple of weeks but I felt trimmer & fitter... I kept going regularly and then suddenly lost 5.5lbs in a week a couple of weeks later. Fingers crossed you will see losses on the scales next week but just wanted u to be aware that if you don't see the loss you expect ignore the scales and keep going like I did as it will come off eventually...

Managed 4 days this week well chuffed unfortunately not today as was working , and ended up moving sons bedroom around <different exercise >.
NOt expecting great things as I know it may take a couple of weeks but feel sooooo much better .
Shopping planned for tomoro and a walk .
