I changed my route to work today and took the train. This involves a 0.5 mile walk to the station from my house and then a 1.3 miles walk from the station at the other end to my office. So 1.8 miles, twice a day, three times a week = almost 11 miles walking a week. Not bad going.
I arrived at work today feeling energised and slightly smug.

I have just started the healthy eating this week and I have a fit bit that gives me the steps I need to to a day so I am aiming to make sure by the end of the day I have done the steps and yesterday it meant I walked up and down the stairs a few times but I think at the end of the day it will do me some good. it does not help that my job is a sitting at the desk all day job so I am aiming to get up a bit more and walk round the office and also go for a walk at lunchtime. So here goes to being healthy and eating correctly and losing the pounds.
