Told borderline diabetes and both parents died early in life with diabetes. It's motivated me to eat healthy and started exercise. Ten minute sessions helping doing u tube beginners workouts. Sat after five mins and watched the rest. But started again in afternoon! Got to sign up gym on Friday. Scared as get out of breath after five mins but know that after a few weeks it will get better.
Enjoy hot food so eating stir fried veg with chicken or other similar dishes with no carbs to keep calories down. Like my chilli, oyster, soya sauces to give food a kick.
Thanks for all the comments as really motivating.

Thanks this is really hepful. I checked it out and a lot of this although I am learning equally I need the reinforcement to learn, remind me and develop new habits. Keep believin!
everyone has to start somewhere with exercise and it will improve the more you do.. just keep moving and I'm sure things will get better.
stirFry are an excellent diet choice but i would just check the sauce ingredients that you are adding as they could contain a lot of salt/sugar & carbs that u don't expect !
I can totally relate to you. My dad and aunt have type 2 diabetes and my blood sugar level was high when i was pregnant. Have every reason to take care of health, lose weight and maintain a healthy weight.
Don't feel like you have to join the gym - YouTube workouts plus plenty of walking are a great way to start. Aldi have a selection of workout equipment this week including dumbbells... good luck!!
Thanks for the Aldi tips. I bought their kettle weights today. Agree so much on iTunes that you can't get bored. Been ok so far so my treat tomorrow for week is some small fish and chips. Will be veg and boiled egg in the daytime mind! LOL!
