Hi not sure where to start. I'm due to have surgery again and very overweight I'm 5ft and 87kg. Gave up drinking alcohol for two months and ate so healthy and yet still only lost 6lb! Anyway feel very low as I haven't much time. Looking to lose 21lb in 2 months. Would welcome any advice. Thanks for reading.

Think SMART Shelley. Specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-measured targets. 21lb in two months is measurable and specific, but not really very realistic. They say 1-2lb per week is realistic and healthy and maintainable weight loss. You could therefore lose 16lb in two months. Set yourself a target of losing 2lb in your first week. This would be a smart target. You can do this, you know. Download the NHS 12 week plan and try and stay within 1400 cals per day. Try using My Fitness Pal to monitor your calorie intake. You say you eat healthily, that's brilliant, but try using a smaller plate. I did this and it's amazing the difference it makes. Good luck with it anyway. This forum is a great support.
As tubby teacher says I suspect you are over eating, I would advise if you can to get some digital kitchen scales, then you can easily weigh and measure foods, no thinking you can guess amounts.
I swapped balance ones for these and noticed a difference, and it helped me. I'm sure lots can be achieved, I always divide my day into 5 parts, 2 snacks, and 3 meals, which certainly helps.
Good luck and be strong, it may be a lot easier than you think
