My darling old dog had to be rushed to the vets at lunchtime. He hurt his leg when he slipped whilst running around the garden chasing reflections which is his favourite game all on his own. He was almost screaming in agony. ☹️. We took him to the emergency vets and he was sedated immediately. He had to be left there while they did X-rays. An hour or so later we had a phone call to say that he hadn't broken his leg or dislocated his elbow or shoulder and that the vet thought he had damaged tendons and said he could come home. 😊. Now he's sleeping off the methadone he was given, and he just has to rest for a few days with painkillers etc. Darling old dog is going to be fine 😊. So happy and thankful for the expert care shown to him. Our hearts can beat again knowing that our very special friend is going to be alright. ❤️❤️

My poor dog..
So glad he is ok. Fellow dog lover, I would do anything for mine, and anything and everything to make sure she didn't suffer. Hope the outcome continues to be good. 🐾
Thank you 😊
Aww bless him glad he's going to be ok.👍🐶
Shower him with love and affection plus the odd doggie treat every now and again. 😊
As one who has previously rushed their dog to the emergency vet on Boxing Day, I can wholly appreciate your sense of anguish, Jweanie.
Nonetheless, I'm glad to hear that, despite the panic caused, he's largely ok - if a little sore through his sense of enthusiasm (there's certainly still plenty of life left in the old dog).
Although, I must ask whether his presence upon the couch is purely an exception to normal rules.
So pleased he is ok x x
That's great news 🐶
