Like a number of other people on the forum I've been reflecting on my loss so far. I'm hoping tomorrow's weigh in will take me to 1and half stone lost, it's been a slow and steady loss over 16 weeks and sometimes I have been disheartened when I read of other's much greater losses in the same time. I don't dwell on that as I know we are all different, I joined the local gym at the beginning of this month and am really enjoying the programme I've been given and looking forward to going up a level in the New Year when I have my first review.
I want to thank all the wonderful people who contribute to this forum and am so pleased I found it. I know I will continue to lose the weight to get to my goal, approx another 3 stone, and with the support from here 2017 is going to be THE year for a lot of us!!ππππππππ

Im the same 1.5st loss but over 22 weeks... ive had a couple of setbacks along the way but remember slow and steady wins the race! I have to keep cheering myself on especially because no-one is yet noticing my weight loss. Keep going, we will get there and you are not alone, sometimes you have to be your own cheerleader, so keep telling yourself you are doing great π Merry Christmas x
I firmly believe slow and steady is the way to go for a permanent weight loss solution π Very well done! I look forward to hearing of your continued success in 2017
Well you are faster than me! 17 lb since May! It can be frustrating but my downwards weight loss graph keeps me motivated. you are doing really well π
Thank you nteapea we've both done well and weigh less at the end of this year than the beginning. So onwards and downwards for next year ππ
I think that's great over 16 weeks! I looked back over my graph, as I'm usually a slow loser and I have lost 14lbs in 11 weeks, which is so much quicker than usual for me - I'm lucky if I lose 1/2lb per week. I'm fully expecting it to start slowing down any time now and I will need to learn to live with 7lbs in 6 months.
