Sausages!

Anyone tell me definitively how many calories there are in a butcher's pork sausage? MyFitnessPal gives SO many options, it's mind boggling.

I generally go for the highest value to be on the safe side. I prefer if it says per 100g as sizes vary as well as the recipe used by the butcher.

Good point. Well I shall try and only eat one! (Difficult as our butcher's sausages are so delicious! Plan to have them/it with homemade braised red cabbage and small amount mashed potato. Yum.😋

I prefer the skinny ones because they're less than fat ones 😊 Asda do lowish fat turkey ones which are yummy 😊 I would guess 150 -200 each for normal pork sausages, but worth every mouthful!! Lol 😊

I really like Tesco healthy living Cumberland sausages,less than 80 Cals each and taste good.

Waitrose make extra lean ones about 89 per sausage, I always buy butchers long thin chipolatas, I reckon about 200 cals a pair, I prefer them to the big sausages!!

Ooo we have Aldi's sausages here and OMG they are 194 cal per sausage, but tasty (hence I don't have sausages very often now - definitely enjoy them a lot more now as they are a real treat )

I use nutra check to check calories then put them in the MFP as the closest and add any extra calories as a quick add
