So I had been focusing so much on a plan to cope with Christmas that I forgot that 80% of my family and boyfriends family were born between November (end) and the New Year and meals out are the way we celebrate each and every one of them. I'm irritated and it's all my own fault for not preparing my mind for it!
I have a plan for Christmas, it involves having Christmas day "off" and then living every other day according to my plan! and im driving so I have a real excuse to stop me from drinking calories.
I did not have a plan for the THREE meals out this week. and we're going away for the weekend! ahhh. Id say it's "only one week" but next week is the work Christmas meal, then a meal out for my nephew the following week, I always meet up with a few friends before Christmas, then it's the big C itself! so I'm in a battle with the social calendar!
Diet 0 : Food 1 (goodbye week seven!)
Needless to say - I'm expecting a small gain tomorrow and then possibly a maintain next Friday (very optimistically said!). let the battle continue!

It's a constant battle! I'm the same, but you seem to have it covered !
We have loads of November birthdays too, but these events are part of living a normal life and enjoying good food is part of it π You have done well, learnt good habits and portion control, it will not ruin the journey, just slow things down a little π
Have a good week, enjoy the celebrations πππ
Yes, you are right, life just gets very hectic at this time of year. And that does include lots of celebratory meals. Yum. But I expect you will be making good choices from the menus -and don't forget that all that Christmas rushing about will burn off some of those extra treats. January is "another year" (to misquote Scarlett O'Hara). As fir December, let's all resolve to just do our best, and enjoy every morsel. ππ
Hi there - just been reading the replies to Maria134's post and there were some really excellent suggestions that might be useful to you too so perhaps you can check it out!!
It's certainly going to be a challenge for all of us, the next few weeks, but as you say, 'let the battle continue'! And you sound in pretty determined mode, so I'd say you have a good chance of success - I'll be rooting for you! Good luck Hidden π
