I have tried so many times before to loose weight and have succeeded a couple of times but it always seems to creep back on. Hoping that I can do it this time and keep it off. I'm here in the hope of some motivation and inspiration.

Counting calories is time-consuming - and you can tend to put weight on again when you stop.
Do you just need the motivation and discipline to stop snacking?
You need a lifetime healthy-eating lifestyle - and if the weight "creeps" back on you might only need minor adjustments to get to and maintain a healthy weight.
When you get to a healthy weight, join the Maintainers' Club for a monthly weigh-in to remind you to keep at it.
The first time was before I had my two children. I lost almost 4 stone by cutting out junk but also got really into going to the gym 3 times a week. Over my first pregnancy and few months of having him it had all come back on.
Second time was by calorie counting.
I tried slimming world for a couple of months last year and lost a stone but stopped going after Christmas and I have put it back on again.
I am very much an emotional eater, I eat when I'm happy and eat when I'm sad and often find myself snacking just because I'm bored.
It's one of those things where I know exactly what I'm doing wrong but am struggling to turn it around again which has led me here to try and give me a push in the right direction.
I would definitely say that snacking is my downfall.
You've got self awareness (knowing what you're doing wrong), it sounds like you need to take the next step: what to do with self awareness. You know why you snack - start there. Look at the reason. If you think you can't look at it, remind yourself that the reason is already revealing itself, thus it's not something overwhelming. Disarm the reason. Then snacking won't be so comforting. Or, compromise: one litre of water before a snack. When yourself off snacks - cold turkey doesn't work long term. Brave is admitting there's a challenge. You've done this. Courage is disarming the challenge-you're looking for ways to do this. Recognise your efforts.
