... That's correct. but I bet they enjoyed them while they had them sometimes we have to let go and eat something we WANT instead of what we "should". It just shouldn't be often and shouldn't outweigh the healthy nutritious things in our diet
My reason for Joining this is because I have become very unfit and out of shape and really feel that now is the time to do something about it and keep to it to.
Candy floss seems to be bigger than their heads .........

Spun sugar (candy floss) isn't good for us, but if we only ate what was good ... life would be somewhat dull! All things in moderation, that way we don't feel deprived and want to binge on really unhealthy food!
I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the NHS Weight Loss Forum. It's a very friendly, encouraging and helpful site, where we are all on the same journey to health.
If you haven't already, please read the Welcome Newbies post. It's in the Pinned Posts section, to the right of your screen, (bottom if you're on a mobile). It has a link to the NHS 12 week plan, which is a great place to start. It doesn't give a specific diet plan, but gives guidelines for healthy eating. Also take a look at the Topics section beneath that, for posts that could answer any questions you may have. You may also like to check out how many calories you should have each day using the BMI checker.
Perhaps consider joining in our challenges, they're fun to do and help with motivation.
Join us for the Monday Group weigh-in. If you 'follow' Lowcal and moreless (our very approachable site Admins), you'll be notified when they post the threads. The latest weigh-in thread can always be found in the Events section, to the right of the home page. The weigh in is entirely voluntary, but I find it helps keep me accountable.
Be active on the forum, as that's where we exchange ideas and get our daily dose of motivation and inspiration. 😄

Thanks all You are right but it just seems that Candy floss is just pointless empty calories , might as well have a cake or a bar of chocolate or slice of Pizza at-least it tastes there is a little nutrition in there where as cotton candy is just as you say spun sugar and I've seen them make it at amusement parks . I loved the stuff when I was about 5 . It is good though to have some of what you enjoy ... Maybe at the weekend or something then the rest of the week only eat healthy and nutritious food that we know is good for us .
I'd rather have candy floss than a cake though - I really enjoy it (and brush my teeth afterwards always!) But then I'm also very fond of meringue too.
