Well we shall have to make a little Motown session every day and dance round in our living rooms I love it 😉

I'm sure I read every 1lb you lose is 4lbs pressure off the knees

My arthritis is shoulders hips knees feet and hands I'm a right old shambles My hip is very bad at the moment so exercise is limited 😞

Who are your Motown favourites My all time are the Four Tops that voice of Levi Stubbs oooh amazing

Let's start on Monday a little session of dancing a day we will get there

All the best 😊

welcome. Take the next couple of days to get yourself organised. Decide where and how you're going to record your calorie intake. Take some measurements and maybe clear out some of your food that might not be the best choices. Good luck on your journey - onwards and downwards 😊 (on the scales obviously 😃)

I wish you all the best. The most important is to start slowly and do not give up. If you can not work out because of your arthritis and back pain I do recommend to try loose weight by eating according to your genes. It is really working. The test is very easy, just saliva sample. After you receive information regarding your dieting for rest of your life, as our genes do not change ;-) Here you have a link newlifegenetics.com/obesity... Good luck!

Hi Motown

Well done for making the first step☺

Hi Motown66,

Good luck with your weight loss, I know what it's like being overweight.

I got a scare in July when my twin told me that she needed complete hip replacement on both sides. It made me look at myself, with eyes WIDE OPEN and I didn't like what I saw. I weighed over 20 stones and at 59 years old and 6' tall I realised that I wouldn't reach a ripe old age unless I did something soon. I decided that by the time I reached 60 I would be slim, fit and healthy. I have changed my eating and drinking habits and taken up some fitness training. Up till now I have lost 2.5 stone and now run four times a week.

This site is fantastic, the people are so friendly and advice is freely given, all you need to do is ask a question and you will get lots of helpful advice.

All the best, Wanawig
