Hi there !! Just seen this site through NHS site so thought I would join for moral support. The weight has been creeping on over the years and now I think it is time to try to lose it. Every time I start my healthy eating ( I do not call it a diet as it sounds like torture) I start off with all good intentions but my willpower wavers and I give up after a few weeks. I want to lose about a stone or if I can a stone and a half so I would be grateful of some support to do this.

Hi Hidden
Sorry you've not had a reply to this, the site has been a bit glitchy this week.
I see that you have been replied to in other posts so apologies if I repeat what has already been said.
This forum is a very friendly, encouraging and helpful site, where we are all on the same journey to health. If you haven't already, please read the Welcome Newbies post. It's in the Pinned Posts section, to the right of your screen, (bottom if you're on a mobile). It has a link to the NHS 12 week plan, which is a great place to start. It doesn't give a specific diet plan, but gives guidelines for healthy eating. Also take a look at the Topics section beneath that, for posts that could answer any questions you may have. You may also like to check out how many calories you should have each day using the BMI checker. Also it's a good idea to take your measurements as sometimes when the scales are not being kind, you may still lose inches.
Perhaps consider joining in our challenges, they're fun to do and help with motivation.
Be active on the forum, as that's where we exchange ideas and get our daily dose of motivation and inspiration. π
Enjoy the forum, and I wish you success with your goals.
Good luck π
