I ask because at half term my daughter and I are going off to Liverpool for a few days. (We are Londoners, born and bred) I am looking forward to seeing another great English city, and if you are a Liverpudlian I'd love some tips on where to go?
As far as healthy eating and weight loss goes, I want to relax a bit, but am definitely planning to maintain even if I don't lose, and I am only going for three days!

Ruby, I'm not a Scouser and have, in fact, only ever been to Liverpool once, back in the early 70's, so I don't think I'd be of much use to you. I just wanted to say that I hope you and your daughter have a smashing time there
Liverpool 1 is the best shopping district and there are lovely restaurants on the top level. Go to Albert Dock for bars, cafes and heritage. There is a big Ferris wheel there too. Go to the pier head to catch the ferry as in the song. All these places are within an easy walk of each other. You can also catch the Beatles magical mystery tour coach from Albert dock near the Beatles exhibition. Have a great time!! Xx
Hi, you don't say how old your daughter is. If you go to the Albert dock and the Beatles story, you should go to the slavery museum and further down you could go on a Ferry across the Mersey, also Liverpool museum, this is the new one. Further down is The world museum which has four levels and Georges hall is across the way too.
Thanks lynne0_0 . My daughter is 12. I definitely want to do the museum of slavery, I'm sure it will be quite sobering, but very interesting in spite of that. We are actually staying at Albert Dock which is great since it seems to be the hub of activity. Thanks for the tip about Speke Hall too.
