hello everyone new here, i have been on my weight loss path for 15 months after being diagnosed as type 2 diabetic back in July 2015, managed to reverse my diabetes within 3 months with weight loss and now have perfect levels. i started this journey at 120kg 18st 12lbs, currently 60.4kg 9st 7lbs so nearly lost half my body weight through a change in life style and my relationship with food. when do you know when you have reached the weight you need to be, still loosing half/pound some weeks

Well done for completing your marathon weight loss programme...I should imagine you feel so much better and hopefully more in control of your life.

You want to find a weight that is in the healthy BMI range for your height, and a weight that you feel comfortable and healthy at, so that you can work on maintaining - that means keeping within 3 or 4lbs either side of your chosen weight.

Maintaining is an art in itself, you can never go back to eating quite as much as you did before, but you can allow the odd treat or extra drink to increase your calories just a little until you find the balance point. Some people continue to watch their calories all week but allow a little more leeway at the weekend. You will have to experiment to see what works for you. Do enjoy your new slim and healthy body!

Wow! Very well done 😊👏🎉😊 excellent weight loss and lovely story 😊

Maintaining as DD says is an art itself, 😊 I would be delighted to be 9.7 😊 But we are each different and only you know how your clothes feel and how well you cope with the new eating regime 😊

Good luck 😊
