Hi Hidden and Caicken51 ,

Welcome to you both!

Have you read our Pinned posts, and especially the Welcome Newbie post yet? Definitely worth a read, as it will help to orientate you to things that past and present members like about the forum.

Do join in with things that you like the look of and hope to see you around and about in the forum.

Lowcal :-)

Hi and welcome April :)

You might want to take a leaf out of Mo1944 's book and join the new Winter Solstice Challenge? :)

There's also a Monday Group weigh-in, which is friendly, supportive and non-judgmental. The latest thread can always be found in the Events Section, to the right of the home page, or you can follow Zest and myself, for a notification when we post the threads :)

Wishing you all the best :)

Thank you for such a warm welcome. I will sign up for the solstice challenge (though I have a 2 week cruise coming up in 3 weeks time argggh). I have lost 2 stone from where I started (with a club) but have been stuck at the same weight for some time now and need some support and some sort of kick start (the leader at club just shrugs and says "you know what you have to do" which actually isn't helping at all...........) on the positive side the 2 stone has stayed off :)

Hello and welcome 😊

You don't say which club you attend or the type of eating plan but there are a few tricks people on here suggest to get past a plateau 😊 Mostly it involves trying to trick your body's Metabolism by eating a little more for a few days then going back to plan. Also changing what you eat, or time of day, basically "mixing it up" 😊 It sounds daft, but sometimes eating more can help you lose weight!!

However, it depends on what you have been doing so far 😕 Unfortunately our body's like to maintain the status quo 😕 Good luck anyway, let us know how you get on 😊

Not what you're looking for?
