Vitamin B12

I've got the results of my blood tests and the only problem I have is a vitamin B12 deficiency. Very pleased that nothing major is wrong, I've looked at the symptoms of not enough B12 and I have them all! I cannot find if it has anything to do with weight loss so it's all up to me now to eat more and keep up with the walking. Happy hump day everyone. Xx

Glad to hear it Bobbivee, that's excellent news! It must be a huge relief too to find that nothing serious is wrong. A big weight off, I would imagine. ;)

Good news ! As you were waiting from days about the test results.

Feel relax and enjoy normal walks as you said.

Good luck for B12 supplements now.

Are you vegetarian or vegan? There are sites which advise how to increase your vitamin B12 if you are.

Otherwise, look at regularly including the following foods in your diet: Foods high in Vitamin B12 include shellfish, liver, fish, crab, fortified soy products (tofu, soymilk), fortified cereals, red meat, low fat dairy, cheese, and eggs.

Hope you get your "get up and go" back soon!

DartmoorDumpling, you have just turned on a light bulb in my brain ( I get a lot of those since I've been on here ) my Husband doesn't like most of the things on your list apart from red meat, cheese and eggs. But there is no reason why I can't have them is there? I do the cooking so why not, I love fish but he can't stand the stuff or the smell. I think someone here recommend tuna steaks a while back I may give that a go. Thank you so much, go straight to the genius class. Xx I'm not a vegetarian btw. Xx
