Had a good 3 days starting last Tuesday, but as soon as the weekend hit it didn't go very well! Although I didn't gain any weight, I'm not feeling too good in myself. Still haven't started exercise, but I'm getting to know my patterns now and know how to cut down. Onwards and upwards, always!

Technically- week 2!
Hi jessdobsonn
Weekends are hard for a lot of people. Can you plan them in advance? This way you can plan a few little 'treats' for yourself so you don't feel deprived. Are you calorie counting? Have you started the NHS 12 week plan? That is a really good place to start.
It's good that you are starting to recognise your patterns and cut down portion sizes, these will help in the long run, as will exercise. Even a 10 minute walk every day will help and if the weather's bad, or you don't want to go out, there are walking exercises on utube. πΆπΆ
If you have a bad day, learn from it and put it behind you. Good luck π π

I can plan, I just find it difficult to stick with them haha! Yeah, I'm calorie counting using the My Fitness Pal app on my phone. I find it great to use as you can scan things you eat and it will record them for later use, and it also tells you all the nutritional facts!
I'd like to start walking more so I think that's a great idea, thanks!π
Lots of us use Myfitnesspal, very handy app π
I join the Monday weigh in, it helps me be accountable, especially over the weekend knowing I'm weighing myself Monday morning and reporting it π
When I started walking as an exercise, I did the Leslie Sansome's one mile happy walk on utube. I can now do the 2 mile walk easily. There are others on there to choose from.
Hello jessdobsonn
It's a learning curve so don't expect to be perfect straight away π You will get there π
Best wishes
