3 days into it Is it possible to actually put on a pound or two ?

Feeling a bit dejected. I think that I may have put on a pound or two Any tips about weigh ins How often should I hit the scales .

I think weighing is a very personal thing Macer and it's so important not to get too hung up about the numbers on the scale. We hold a monday weigh-in, which I feel is often enough to get a fairly accurate picture of how things are going, although it can take much longer to see an overall downward trend.

I now weigh myself every morning, as I got a shock one monday, after having gained several pounds, on a week where I'd stuck to plan. I now know my weight can fluctuate wildly, on a daily basis, by as much as 7lbs!!

Always weigh yourself naked, at the same time, on the same scales, after going to the toilet and before eating, or drinking anything. Make sure that the scales are set on a solid base (not carpet) and are left/put in the same spot. Any change to this, can result in variations with the numbers.

I can confirm that when you move scales around from place to place they can give different readings! I just bought new scales and got 4 different readings depending on where in my bathroom I placed the scales!! It could be that having an item of clothing that no longer fits as a measure/goal works more reliably.

Totally agree about scales and we fluctuate so much with our weight.

Clothes are more reliable, so if you have something that just fits but need to lose to wear it, use that as a guide.

I find for me is a skirt that is too tight on waist is best guide..

I have a couple of things I want to get into and so I have that as a goal😃

I've been trying to get NASA to put some scales on to the moon as we weigh far less there but so far they have been avoiding my emails. I think they want my idea for themselves............bloomin NASA............

Hi,

Weighing yourself is a good tool to keep you motivated that how much you lost or gain. If you are not very concerned you can weigh yourself in two weeks time, good to give you confirmation about what re you doing to your eating and exercise .

Otherwise once a week is good , we really enjoy Monday weigh in I this platform ,lots of encouraging comments and advice you can get from.

Follow Moreless instructions about weighing yourself same time empty stomach, and naked will give you most correct numbers.

Good advice from every one . I just weigh myself on a Monday morning for the weigh in and follow the directions above from more less. It's normal to have fluctuations during the week
