Disheartening gained again.......

Gained what I had lost last week.................after very stressful time and not managing to exercise due to fatigue and stress. My goals are:

to increase activity

make sure I get sleep

Drink more fluids

Allow myself to adjust to coming off bp tablets today

Remember each day is a new day

Keep food and mood diary and report back at fresh start appointment

Feels like a plan!

Sounds like a plan too! Shake it off and move forward. We can all get caught up and stress throws your hormones out of whack which can sabotage weight loss. Be kind to yourself. You will get there x x x

thanks.............it's been tough but my fresh start person says I have a good attitude and I feel it is vital for me to break bad habits and build healthy lifestyle ones instead. Folks on this site cheer one another on and it's just what we all need. Hope you're doing ok Crimson85j.

Don't be disheartened, it was only a few days -think about the many days there are until Christmas, we have got plenty of time and opportunities to succeed and be so much healthier.

Hi, don't worry too much about exercise to begin with, especially if you are feeling fatigued. If you concentrate first on healthy eating and feeling better you will soon have more energy and then you can start to build up your exercise gradually. Good luck with your plan 👍

Weight loss is 80% diet and 20% exercise. I have lost 22lbs all from eating clean, my exercise is walking everyday and indoor aerobics which i do twice or three times a week when I'm off from work. You don't have to run a marathon or wear your feet out on a treadmill. 8hrs of sleep and over a litre of water everyday helps too. Ignoring hunger pangs.. sometimes hunger isn't really HUNGER. We tend to have cravings 98% of the time, doing things like reading a book or listening to some music helps the cravings go away. Atleast for me it does.

So pleased you are still looking forward, it's very easy to give up. I have yo yo dieted for years each time I lose the weight I promise myself I won't put it back on. Realise now that I probably will struggle with this forever. I wish you every success with your goals. A plan is a great start, remember to be kind to yourself x
