Exercise bike revisited.

Today I went on my exercise bike! I went on it when I first started the healthy eating plan back in April and I could only manage 2 minutes then had to stop due to arthritis pain in knees and hips. Hadn't been on it since. But today I tried again and managed 10 minutes with NO PAIN! I feel really pleased. This means that I will continue every day and up my minutes on there I hope. I guess the fact that I've lost weight (3 stones and 5lbs so far), and the fact that I have started walking every day and try and walk at least 10000 steps a day has helped so much. I feel so much better and the arthritis pain is so much better too- some days I don't even hurt too much at all. My dear old dog is looking quite svelte lately. I really do feel so happy that I've managed to continue because I've lost count of how many times in the past I've lost 3 stones and then every time put it all back on again. This time feels different. I'm not going to put it back on. I'm going to continue and work towards getting to below 100kgs, that would be so wonderful and I feel it's achievable as it's getting closer. Great support on here, and good to hear of others successes every day 😊😎.

Hi Jweanie, Well done on losing 3 stone 5lbs that a brilliant achievement. I too had the same problem as you when I started using my exercise bike, my knees were very painful, but I slowly built the time up over the last few weeks. Now I can do 15 minutes every day and I have found I'm peddling is faster now too. So slowly build it up and if I can do it you will too. Have a good weekend.
