Go for it! Your life will be transformed, you will be happy, healthier, fitter, have loads of energy and feel so motivated that you will never look back. Been at the 'daren't dip my toe in the water' stage but now at the other end. Got here by setting myself little targets, never thought about the end goal. Good luck.

Hi. I've just done my first week. I too have loads to loose. I find it really good. I'm doing the NHS 12 week plan. I have my weigh in tomorrow. Though I had a sneaky one this morning and lost an incredible 9lb. I have downloaded the app "my fitness pal" where you log everything you eat throughout the day. It gives you the cals for the food. One piece of advice WEIGH everything as eye judgement is not enough. I haven't been to the gym yet all I do is walk. Poor dog goes out more now than her little legs can take. Only 10-20mins in morning and evening but it's a start. I also walk 20mins to work and home. I also walk around at work to do I'm nearly at the recommended step of 10000 a day. Check out the newbie section on here as well. Sorry for the ramblings but good luck and look forward to hear about your journey xx

Hi and welcome Masdi :)

Don't be scared, be excited! Today is the first day of the rest of your life :)

Check out the Pinned Posts section to the right of your screen (bottom, if you're using your phone) and starting with the Welcome Newbies thread, work your way through. Follow the link to the NHS 12 week plan and see if that's something you'd like to try :)

We have a monday group weigh-in and you would be very welcome to join us. If you follow Zest and myself, you can be sure of always being notified when the new thread is posted.

Consider joining any, or all of the challenges, as they're fun and motivating and be active on the forum.

Wishing you all the very best, as you start your journey to health and happiness :)

Hi and welcome you have already had good advice and been welcomed by Moorless with the info you need.

Don't be scared because there is only an up side to starting the 12 week plan just download week 1 keep a written track of everything maybe use a fitness tracker for motivation I have a fit bit but there is myfitnesspal to download which if free of course.

I have over 5 stone to loose so don't worry you are far from alone there are some lovely people on here with brilliant motivational stories of their journeys just keep pulling at posts on a daily basis for motivation.

If you have a determined mind set you are half way there and you have made the best start I am so glad I found this forum as I don't think I could do it without the support and motivation you get here. We are lol in the same boat it's our choice SINK or SWIM.

Good Luck Bev
