New Exercise Bike
Hi, I used to go to a gym but left because I moved address. I would do 10 mins on the exercise bike, best to time yourself first then build up to the kms. Good Luck.
Yes, I do 10 -15 minutes, and try to get faster/harder resistance/more calories 😊 I also vary the speed, try to go flat out for 15 seconds then recover! Phew!! 😊 Good luck! I really like mine 😊
Intervals are the best way to start, based on time, and preferably follow a plan based on your goals - so for example, garmin.com/uk/training I find this a much more effective way than distance, although everyones different!
Oh, and have fun!
I do a set time but also make sure that I complete a certain distance. For example I will bike for 30 minutes and make sure that I do 20km in that time, if I have time to go further that is brilliant but I never do less than 20km even if it takes slightly longer than 30 minutes. Goodluck and have fun, make sure you dont do to much at the beginning, build it up
Hi I have just purchase an exercise bike after a lot of research due to chronic arthritic knees and back degeneration I was told to take the first steps really slowly max 5mins and work up to feel the maximum benefit and not aggravate the joints also to go swimming as both exercises are low impact on the joints. I am really hoping this will work for me as I can not have knee replacement due to complications with sedation which left me having had a brain haemorrhage due to having sedation. so I wish you lots of luck but go steady and build up
