Hi Markstronger,
Great that you're getting started, and welcome to the Weight Loss NHS forum. Have you read our Welcome Newbie post? It's in the Pinned posts area (top right-hand-side of the homepage) if you do want to have a read - and there are other pinned posts there that are worth a look.
Maybe join us for the Monday group weigh-in sessions, if you like the idea of a weekly weigh-in as part of a group - I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it is a really supportive and encouraging group.
Have a great week.

Will do and thank you.
Hi markstronger and welcome to this very friendly forum π
Alot of us are following the nhs12wk plan and would highly recommend if you aren't to print it all out and have a good read through.
Portion control was one of my major problems before I started I now weigh my food (to a degree) and have found with a few tweeks to my diet I am never hungry. I've lost nearly 2stone in 19wks.
You sound like your enjoying the exercise and that's a major hurdle.
Good luck. Claire x

Today is the first official day of the 12-week plan.
I will pay close attention to my portion control and stress eating.
