Hi

I am new to this site I am 4 stones over weight would like to lose some but unfortunately I am bedridden and not a lot of excercises I can do pls can someone help thank you

Hiya,

You've come to a good place, this is a really friendly group :-)

Have you looked at the NHS 12 week plan? It's really great, you print out the sheets each week and keep a track of your cals. There is a calorie counter on the website so you can find out the calorie content of most things. I find that helps keep me on track.

I've heard that a cup of green tea each day can help with weight loss. You wouldn't want to have too much because of the caffeine. I've not tried it, but someone on here might be able to advise.

Thank you so very much I have got the 12 week plan going also green tea I cannot have had I am allergic to tea unfortunately is they anything else which will take these stones away pls

Plenty of fluids will help, often we get dehydrated, geerally movinb as much as you can will help too.

Maca root is great if you are menopasal, check it out, it helps with my hormonal bloating, snack on water based veg, and try a spiraliser if you can for veg, courgette spaghetti, maybe? Just tried it this evening, this sort of stuff will lower your cal intake, no magic cure for weight loss that i know of.
