Well after a week back on track i am delighted to have lost 8lb this week and the 3 inches I'd put on my waist last week have also been banished. Thank the universe! It was a lot of bloat and water no doubt from my disastrous previous week but I'm glad ive shifted the majority of it π
I have stuck to diet 100% this week but haven't done my usual 6 workouts (did about 4) due to the heat. It seriously drains my energy completely. I'm glad this hasn't affected my loss. Most of my exercise this week has been walking and I also tried out that 7 min workout app. My legs ached for days after so that was impressive!
I have a night away planned this weekend which is an absolute rarity for me. It's been planned since just before I started my diet so it's been a great incentive. I had hoped to be in the 12's by the time it came around and I'm happy I've reached that goal. If I can maintain by next Monday, I'll be happy but I'm not going to beat myself up over anything this weekend. I will enjoy myself completely guilt free and deal with anything the scales have to say next week π
I've also started couch to 5k this morning. I am definately not a runner in the slightest so this is a massive challenge for me but I absolutely loved my run in the park this morning. I shocked myself! π
Onwards and downwards you lovely people πͺπ½

Well done NotSoTiny π Your post has really cheered me up as I am also battling a gain following a busy, fun but stressful week with visitors π I'm back on track and hope to follow your example and lose the weight I've gained π
Also very well done on the running! Exercise becomes addictive and is a real boost isn't it? πππ΄π½ππΌβ€οΈπ
Rightly so!! That's a great achievement πππ
I can't run due to arthritis but have worked really hard at my walking following an operation last year, and recently got an exercise bike π If I don't manage one or the other (sometimes both) I get so grumpy!! People who have known me for years are as surprised as me!! Lol π
Walking does amazing things though. I find my weight loss is better through walking than any other exercise I do. That surprised me. Next run is Wednesday morning. I'm looking forward to it πͺπ½ππ½
I am so jealous of you that you stayed in the 12's! Well done! You are a star! I have been saying that I am desperate to get into the 10 was supposed to be April and now I pushed it off for this Friday but unfortunately it doesn't look like it as I am now 11.6! You deserve a gold medal! I must learn from you to stick to your plan!
I've really gotta be rigid with my 1200 a day calories for anything to come off. When I'm in the zone, it works but it's hard to stay in the zone for a long time. I was gutted with how much of a gain I had last week so a week fully back on track was definitely needed. This dieting malarkey isn't easy so don't be too hard on yourself if it takes a bit longer than you planned. It'll come off soon enough. πͺπ½
Yes that is exactly my point that you don't eat the wrong stuff. I am just fed up as there is a reason why I keep eating all these sweets. i guess I will find out on Thursday with my Therapist.
