Week 10

Hi all,

Well it's week 10 and I am very happy to report a loss of 2Ib, I know it might not seem much but the last few weeks have been a roller coaster, and it feels really good to be moving in the right direction. Its been really hot these last few days and I have pulled out a few of last years summer clothes only to find them ' a bit snug' and while I know I had put on the reality is always in the clothes!!

My goal is to lose 21 Ib but in the ten weeks my weight loss has been a bit hit and miss but I remain focused and I know I will get there !!

I have found this forum really supportive and even on rough days I always find something that makes me smile or inspire me, I think it's the honesty that is shared and the reality of how hard life changes can be.

Have a good weekend and an even better week.

😇

Hi Flossie 358

I think that a 2lb weight loss in a week is good, small steady steps will help you to reach your goal. Sticking with the plan for 10 weeks is also a great achievement, I just hope that I can manage to do it. I have only recently joined the forum and am having my initial weigh in on Monday after what will actually be a really bad weekend in terms of food and the dreaded drink. To be honest, I am just going to allow myself to enjoy the weekend and then I can get the weight loss party started on Monday.

Hi Flossie. Really good to hear you've lost 2lb this week, that's definitely worth celebrating! Can you pick a couple of those summer clothes to act as guides to see what you'll fit into next? Maybe some of the least snug ones might be wearable later in the summer after losing a few more lbs? In the meantime, get yourself something new to wear that's cheery and summery. It doesn't have to be expensive, but it's good to make sure you have things you're happy wearing now, that fit well, while you wait to fit back into the old clothes :) Lots of luck for the week ahead, good to be part of this forum too, really supportive :)

This is such good news flossie :-) well done on losing 2 lbs this week yeahya :-) Good to hear you remain focused and you sound really positive which is great and that your summer clothes are almost fitting you nicely. When I fit in something and it is snug it gives me that bit more of an incentive to get in them as fast as I can so I know you must be feeling really happy about that.

It's such a great feeling losing weight isn't it ? and knowing and seeing all your hard work is paying off...so keep going as it will all be so worth it by the time you reach your goal weight.

Good luck at your next weigh in and have a lovely week ahead
