Hello everyone I've just joined forum and in a bid to fall pregnant (20 months trying) I've realised some weight loss might help. Any recommendations or tips would be great

Hi Vicky,
If you are hoping to be mum, it is a good idea to get yourself into the best physical shape. Plan some healthy balanced meals, and include all the necessary vitamins and minerals found in fruit and veg, whole grains and dairy foods. Don't put your young life "on hold" whilst you wait; concentrate on having some fun while you are still free of ties and this in turn will help to keep you fit and healthy and hopefully more likely to conceive.

I agree with DartmoorDumpling that it's important to eat healthily and get your body fit and in the best possible position to conceive. Here's a link to a helpful page in the NHS Choices website about Healthy Eating:

I'm totally with you. We are Planning to have another baby at some point and that plus getting in much better shape again for my little one and myself is my main motivation to lose weight.. Everyday life's ups and downs don't make it easy to fall into some routine so enjoy every bit of extra me time you have at the moment.. It will be signigicantly less in the nearer future.. 🙃
