So Monday I will be starring the NHS 12 week plan! I've tried Ww, SW and Atkins so I'm going for the healthy eating to see how I go. I'm 1 week post knee op but I will do as much exercise as I can......😊

Welcome and good luck VikMattz, remember that weight loss starts in the kitchen so do not worry too much about exercising until you are fully recovered from your operation. John

Hi- I've just found this and will be starting on Monday as well.  Have a family party today, so no hope!  I've tried WW and SW. Both worked, but I'm having problems with will power, so hoping something new will help.  Good luck!😂

cut out most of carbs and you will lose the cravings and spread out the calories so there is always something left you can do it believe it.

Good luck, I am sure youre knee will be much better if you lose weight it worked a miracle for mine 3.7 st is a lot of weight on my knees and now its gone ,little by little just count the calories  x

Hi, 

Unfortunately I have Crps in my knees so the weight loss will only relieve the pressure not get rid of the pain 😔

But that aside I want to be fit and healthy again, I put on 4 stone after my first op by eating crap and not being very mobile...

Good luck, will be going back to calorie counting on Monday too. I don't think any system is perfect, I love the freedom to choose but hate all the weighing. Saw on another post where a guy makes up a weeks worth of salads for packup in one go and fridges them ready to grab and go. I bulk cook and freeze portions with the calorie count written beside whats in the box. Hope this helps the salad trick will be a new one for me, bought cheap takeaway style tubs from Asda :)

I used to make salads up in mason jars for work, they can be made up for a week, it's a good idea...

Didn't think about bulk cooking and freezing, what sort of recipes do you freeze?
