Hi all! I'm new to all this & am looking forward to getting help & advice from fellow users.
Hi: Hi all! I'm new to all this & am... - Weight Loss Support
Hi
Hi Ljr5,
Welcome to the Weight Loss NHS forum. I'd like to give you the link to the Welcome Newbie thread, which moreless has put together:
healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
Many of us follow the principles of the NHS 12 week plan, as it's a good structure and a great resource. We have a Monday group weigh-in if you're interested - you can see details of that in the Welcome Newbie thread, but also you could see the latest thread in the 'Events' section (right-hand-side of homepage) - so have a read to see if you think you'd like to participate. You'd be very welcome.
Wishing you a great week ahead and good luck with your weight loss goals.

Ooh me too just signed up and raring to go
Plenty of useful help and advice available in this friendly forum. You will enjoy reading the posts and hopefully getting some useful ideas to help you along the way. Let us know how you get on!
Thank you very much. I'm hoping to get some very helpful & useful advice. But sense I have a long way to go.
Don't look any further ahead than tomorrow - it is a case of lots of small steps - one day at a time. I have been using an online app to keep track of my calories and walking more as I get fitter. I have gone from 15st 6lbs to 14st 2lbs and feel so much better - but still targeting a weight of around 12st 7lbs. The weight crept on slowly and it has to come off at the same pace sadly - but we will get there if we put our mind to it. Be positive - it starts in the next half an hour.... when you decide to have a cup of tea instead of bag of crisps and so on....you can do it!
I'm finding these weeks really challenging. I seem to be losing weight, but not the any (or very little) exercise & not thr eating healthy. Am concerned & have spoken to my GP who is going to monitor it. Any help or advice wld be appreciated.
