Feeling dissatisfied
Hi Brunellarusso,
I am so sorry to hear you're feeling like giving up. I hope you don't do that. It sounds like you're keeping active with your gym sessions, and I am wondering if perhaps you're not eating sufficient calories for your activity levels?
The NHS 12 week plan talks of 1400 calories for women, but ideally use the BMI calculator to look at an individualised range for your own height, weight and activity level - that would be my recommendation - and maybe regarding your exercise - are you doing a mix of aerobic and strength exercises, as the body can get used to whatever exercise we take, and it can be good to mix things up. I find that strength exercises in particular help to tone the body and also develop muscles, which can help your metabolism.
The first week of the NHS 12 week plan has the BMI calculator link, so if you do want to look at it to check your ideal calorie range, then the link is here:

I'd also recommend having a read of the Welcome Newbie pack, which is a post on the 'Pinned posts' section (right-hand-side of homepage) - it is a useful resource collated by Moreless (a lovely member of the forum).
Wishing you the best, and hope that you see some results really soon.
Lowcal
Maybe ncrease your calories a little for a few weeks.
What do you do in the gym? Is it just cardio or strength training? Have you gained muscle?
Hi, i mix cardio with strenght training usually is literally 30 minutes of each every session.
Thank you everyone for your messages. It's the first time i logged and i think sometime you just need that little support to jeep going from people that are trying the same as you.
So keep the messages coming
I started my weight loss having 1200 calories a day and didn't lose much so I upped it to 1400 and started losing, 9lb so far. So although it seems strange your body won't like you not eating enough x good luck x
As well as the great advice above, I wanted to suggest that you change what form of exercise you are doing at the gym. For example, if you normally cycle, switch to cross-training, if you normally walk on the treadmill, try to run. Or take some exercise classes, like a kettlebell class or boxercise. Our bodies get used to a certain activity and gets more efficient at it, so confuse your body by changing the exercise up.
You may have not lost weight but you have probably lost inches,do your clothes feel a little bigger. You are converting fat to muscle, when you do this muscle is denser than fat and so takes up less space so hence you have lost inches.
