Hi Caroline62,

Sorry to hear you're feeling fed up. It is tough when you're hoping to see some losses on the scales and they refuse to budge. Are you sticking with the NHS 12 week plan, or doing something different? Would you like to join in the Monday group weigh-in, to give you some more support? It's a friendly and supportive group?

Hope you see some results soon, and hope you feel a bit better as the week goes on.

Lowcal :-)

Hi Caroline,

If what you are doing isn't working for you, what are you going to do differently? If you don't note your intake, I suggest you start, either by a log or even photos. Even just doing that can make us more mindful of what we are eating. My partner always loses weight the week he writes it down! It means he can't forget all the extras and snacks! So he cuts some of them out. If you are already logging, I suggest that you go through what you have eaten and drunk over the last 2 weeks. Look at each day and think what you could have improved. This will help you make better choices, if that is the issue. But maybe something has happened over the last 2 weeks that has stopped you from focussing or, worse, still has affected your weight loss? I know some medications make it very difficult for me to lose weight. So do a lot of social events! I am sure, if you think it through, you will work out what the problem was and will have another tool to use in future. Hope you have a really good week and a good loss at the end of it.

Thankyou for your answer. I will start writing thing down. It is true about meds. I do take very strong pain killers. I am going to talk to my pain clinic Dr next month. I am also trying to do more walking. It did stop a bit with bad weather. Done 5000 steps today which is 4000 more than last Tuesday and will be doing more later has I have to go to dentist. Having homemade veg soup for lunch also.

Not what you're looking for?
