Hi. I'm new here. I never used to have a problem with my weight but it has crept up over the last 3 years. I am struggling to lose weight and only lost 10 pounds in 16 weeks. I need help to keep motivated. I have another 18 pounds to lose

Welcome to the forum. I think you've done well to lose 10 pounds in 16 weeks, that sounds like good progress to me. So well done.

I also think you have done well. I know of someone in a Slimming club I went to who lost 2 stone at 1/2lb a week. We used to call her 8oz! Some people just take the scenic route. Well done and carry on
Thank you for your kind words. Staying motivared is the hardest part. Waking is a big part of my excersize, at least 30 minutes of brisk walking, but hearing the wind howling doesn't exactly motivate me. Roll on the nicer weather. In the meantime i will walk to the furthest shop from my house to buy a newspaper, thats about a mile away. I have got my excersize bike to fall back on. Happy days
