Well although I signed up before xmas I didn't really start until new year. The first 2-3 weeks went very well , even though I was not at the gym due to an injured knee. The last week wasn't great as it was the anniversary of losing my mum and find that time very difficult. But hey ho such is life. Anyway my total loss for January is 9lb, not bad, quite pleased with that. Has given me a boost to keep going. Being organised is definitely the key for me so breakfast porridge and salad lunches all preped the night before so no excuses.
Congratulations on losing 9 pounds in January, that is really great. Glad it's given you the boost to keep going. Sounds like you've had a few challenges within the month, so well done for getting through them. Sorry to hear you had to face the Anniversary of losing your Mum. That is really tough.
I also enjoy having porridge for breakfast - usually with some nuts and seeds and fruit to jazz it up and add further nutrients. I really enjoy it.

I find that porridge keeps me going longer than anything else and is an easy one to take to work as I not one for eating first thing. I try to avoid bread as much as possible and other cereals do absolutely nothing for me.
