Last night we had an amazing time in Bangkok. Thai food at Cabbages and Condoms, bar crawl downtown in our tuk tuks and then back to our hotel for karaoke.
Please post kms/steps/miles for Saturday 23 January
I'm just back from holiday and amazed at how far you have travelled whilst I have been enjoying the glorious sunshine in St Kitts. I have been fairly active whilst on holiday, somehow it seems so much easier in the warm weather. My total km's kicked for 1st - 23rd Jan is 215.6 km, I hope this gives the trip a little boost. Unfortunately tomorrow it's back to the reality of working full-time and I'll be tied to my desk while I catch up on a few things so my daily totals may suffer for the next few days. The cross-trainer in a cold garage doesn't have the same appeal as walking along the beach with your feet in the ocean but I'll try to do my bit to help the cause. Happy travels everyone.
Woohoo mrsg! Welcome back! I was just saying to Lizzy yesterday that it felt like ages since we'd heard from you
I hope you've had a truly splendiferous time, it certainly sounds as if you have
We've been doing brilliantly with our trip, but those magnificent K's you've brought back for us as a souvenir, will probably leap frog us directly to Hong Kong, or similar!
Sorry I couldn't reply earlier but I was dashing out. We had an amazing holiday thank you. Back to the reality of work tomorrow morning, I've had a couple of lazy days in terms of kicking the km's, a kick up the bottom might be required tomorrow. The around the world trip is going well, I'm hoping it motivates me to being more active, it seemed so much easier in the warmer weather.
Oooh, really hot, spicy Thai food - love it. Gave the condom away to the tuk tuk driver though. And the Karaoke made me laugh so much. Overslept this morning and was woken up with a very gurgly tummy - maybe the food was a bit TOO hot yesterday.
