You're not the only one who ate more yesterday than they should - I did too! Another Christmas round the in-laws this time today - have managed to squeeze in 15 minutes on my stationary bike before the children got up and will try to watch what I eat today but hard when the food is brought to you on a plate and you get a strop or sarky comment if you don't eat it - it ruins not mine but my husband's day. So my aim is to keep the food to a minimum today. I am going to cut back to morrow - back to normal eating from Sunday and squeezing in as much exercise I can around the family all being here. I will read any detox tips with interest too!
Apparently detoxing is a bit of a myth. We have a liver that does that for us. You can of course not give it more to do 😃
Aqua_marine is right. Just have some water to drink and an early night.
I have a few days of just eating fruit and non-starchy vegetables. I eat as much as I want of those items and will have a few beans for protein. Also drink lots of water. Works for me.
I turn to water, as for me the instinct to 'detox' normally follows drinking too much alcohol. I'm drinking lots of water at the moment. Always have a big glass or better still a jug of water near you. Good luck
