It has been so great to see so many of you joining in with the Christmas is Coming Challenge - thank you
So this week I have finally hit my first major goal which was to get below 20 stones. This means I've lost just over 4 & half stones! I had hoped to get there by the beginning of October but I am here now and that's what matters. I am only inside the 19s by 1/2 a lb so hopefully by next week there will be a bigger gap and I can stay under the 20s over xmas. I have 6.5lbs to go now to hit my xmas target
I lost 3 3/4lbs this week. A 1/4lb was a little left over gain so still lost 3.5lb of new lard A total of nearly 29 bags of sugar!
It is so nice to not be 20+ stone anymore!!!!!!!!!!
Good luck to everyone else weighing over the next few days

Wtg fabulous. What a result. Really pleased for you.
πππππππππSueper, fantastic result and never quibble about a 1/2Ib honey it makes all the difference lol X
You must be feelings fab !!! It does not matter how long it takes as long you get there. Whoop de whoop, hope you are going to treat yourself to something nice.
Sounds nice, it's my birthday and having a rum and diet coke( counted for) and 3 yes only 3 champagne truffles that the dog bought me !!! He's so clever lol
Brilliant Sueper, it's great isn't it to finally break that 20st barrier.
You have come so far to lose 4st 7lb in less then 3/4 of a year. I have been there and got the t-shirt, or very large baggy shirt, we are both in this for the long haul and 2 year+ on in my journey I guess we can understand each others situation a bit.
I have found that there are times when you are losing steadily and then others times when everything slows down, as you have also found, and you just have to keep going. There seems to be no obvious reason why just the fickleness of our bodies.
What do you do then it's a special occiasion or holiday, relax a little or try to keep to your normal eating plan?
Thanks Ros, getting into the 19s has been such a big deal for me and it just kept slipping away. I kept fluctuating between 20st 3lb & 20st 7lb. But a good push these last 2 weeks has finally got things moving again. I almost feel that putting a target date on it set me back.
I have no real plans to celebrate even though it is my first major target. I am however going away for my birthday in February and planning a plurge on some new clothes so it'll be a bit of a belated celebration - and maybe I'll be a stone lighter by then
Yes I have found the same problem if I give myself a date to get to the next target weight. I normally set a target of no more than the next 1/2 stone but I also set targets inbetween. For example my last few have been 14st 10lb (8 st off), 14st 7lb, 14st 3lb, 200lb, 14st and 95 & 90kg for good measure, don't let it ever be said that I miss out on the encouragement of reaching a target. It might be a bit sad but it works for me! Haha
I'm sure you can do it Sue, I can't believe where I have got to, my next big target is 13st 10lb, 9st lost but most importantly my BMI will finally be 30, overweight rather then obese. This is where you will get too!!
Sueper, I'm absolutely thrilled for you. That's an absolutely massive achievement and a huge psychological step. Honestly, I couldn't be happier for you and it's all downhill from here on in
I'm absolutely positive you'll hit your Christmas target - you're on a roll now!
Lap up all the praise and enjoy every minute of your success, because you so deserve it.
Thanks for being such a positive influence on all of us, but especially for those of us whose goals seem such a long way off.
Hay sueper this is so great to hear that you are out of the 20's and into the 19's woohoo so, so, so pleased for you and congratulations on your loss of 3. 3/4 pounds OMG your rocking it rock chick. What a fabulous week you have had and so close your xmas target as well with only 6.5 to go....I really hope we all make our targets this yr that would just be the icing on the cake
Hi Sueper , I am so, so thrilled for you that is such a fantastic achievement , you must be feeling wonderful and so proud.
It somehow feels even more magical when you have worked so hard to get to the next goal and it is such a significant one getting below that 20 yey it is all freefall from now on!
It definitely inspires me to push forward and keep on with the focus on my health.
You have done exceptionally well losing so much in that time I am so chuffed for you, keep on forwards and downwards Sue`
