Convenience foods - pah!

Why did anyone invent cheese slices? If you have to get out a knife or grater you have time to think but with those slices ...

I know people will say don't buy them. I don't! My husband buys them for his sandwiches. We already have the 'bad' shelf at top of fridge but that's full! (With his horrible salami).

How do people resist stuff that has to be in the house for family?

husbands can be a pain !1

To be honest the amount of time they take me to peel them off the cellophane puts me off ! (Although they are nice on a grilled mushroom !)

Are they actually cheese? They look like slimy plastic to me.

Just home and checked! Phew, just sliced emmental and maasdam. No other ingredients.
