Those packs/tins of "Problem Foods"

Hello all.

I have been on my diet since the start of October, and I enjoy shopping and getting my "diet compatible, calorie controlled" foods. But I have those "pre-diet" foodstuffs that are sitting in my cupboard, you know those diet unfriendly products that caused my problem in the first place.

I was just thinking "what should i do with these", I have not been brought up to waste food, but the thought of these foods horrify me now..... Then I have had a thought...

I cannot be the only "newbie" who is starting this out. It is now November and Harvest Festival/Christmas/Winter is coming.

I am going to rid my cupboards of all the tins/packs which I wish not to eat any-more, and will donate them to either a local food-bank / school / church ETC, so people who are unfortunate and have fallen into hardship can at least gain from this... It has to be better than to simply throw out.

...and it will make me be ruthless in my food cull as It will be for the benefit of others.

Well (Photo)... This is a start!!!

I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated. Christmas is always a busy time for foodbanks around here. :)

Well done you - brilliant thing to do with the things you no longer wish to eat. Makes you realise just how differently you are eating doesn't it!

Fantastic idea, I know for a fact that two of our local food banks have run out of food completely at the moment and they’re so grateful of anything they can get their hands on. Please don’t be put off by dates too, they often have a shelf for recently outdated products which we all know are fine but they can’t technically give to people.
